We are in a quiet lane at the Schipfe, between Rennweg and the river. Walk in any time we are open, no reservation needed.

Five minutes on foot from Zürich main station. From Rennweg, take the lane down towards the Limmat. Look for the lit sign.
Before your first visit
Do you take reservations?
The tea room is walk-in only. For groups of six or more, write to us and we will keep a table.
Can I work on my laptop?
Yes, on weekdays until 2 pm. Afternoons and weekends the tables belong to tea and conversation.
Is your matcha sweetened?
Never, unless you ask. We keep a light syrup made from raw cane sugar at the counter.
Do you have plant milk?
Oat and almond milk, always at no extra charge.
How much caffeine is in a bowl?
About 60 to 80 mg in a usucha, roughly as much as an espresso. Hojicha has much less.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, calm dogs are welcome inside. We have water bowls by the door.
Is the tea room accessible?
There is one small step at the entrance and we have a ramp. Our toilet is not wheelchair accessible.

Card, Twint and cash.
